Guy McPherson's visit to New Zealand

Dr Guy McPherson's New Zealand Speaking Tour October 2014



Guy McPherson will be delivering presentations in New Zealand from the 19th of October 2014 through till 1st of November 2014. If you're interested in supporting this effort, drop one of us a line. We'd like some assistance with marketing, for example, including some graphic arts. Thanks, in advance, for ideas and assistance.

We are in the early stages of planning this tour and will gladly accept any assistance that can be given with regard to Venues in Auckland, the Bay of Plenty, Wellington and Christchurch

We are a peak oil/climate change activist in New Zealand and we are assisting Guy McPherson, a writer/speaker on climate change and energy depletion, in setting up speaking engagements throughout the region from 19Oct-1Nov . If your group might be interested in his message and in providing a place for him to speak, or if you might know of other groups in Auckland that might be interested.

I think Dr. McPherson’s message is compelling and would give the community plenty of food for thought. His blog, Nature Bats Last can be found at http://guymcpherson.com/ and his writings and videos there can give you a sense of what his presentations are like, although each one is customised for the local audience. His book Walking Away from Empire details why and how he left his university position to live off-grid in the desert in New Mexico.
